Suggestions for great abs with no love handles and for a slimmer body
The first this to do is eat right.
A lot of specialists will tell you that if you want to have a healthy life, the fruits, cereals and bread have to make 70% of your diet. Why is the diabetes and obesity increasing if the diet enriched with vitamins and minerals touted by the American Dietetics Association and by the American Medical Association is so healthy and great? Why is obesity became an epidemic around the children? Even if we have better supplements, better pacing technology and so on. So what seems to be the problem?
The carbs that you eat breaks down into glucose which will enter your blood stream. When the glucose in your blood is high, the body releases insulin. This is going to process glucose in two ways. Some of it will break down into glycogen that goes to the muscles and the liver and the rest will turn into triglycerides that go into the adipose tissue that’s known as FAT. Insulin helps fat storage. That is why it’s called the hormone that storage fat.
So what should we do? Give up on carbs? No. you can’t give up on eating carbs without cheating at one point. The people that can have a protein diet are the ones with health problems, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure. Those can be good motivators. You have to make this diet part of your lifestyle.
You will be given a list of food and that you should or should not eat, so try to fit it in your diet. Think about what you eat not how much you eat.
A lot of specialists will tell you that protein is not good for you because you can only absorb 30-40 grams of it at once, and the protein from vegetables is the same as the one from fish or meat. Nevertheless you should get a lot of quality protein. All those things the specialists say are just unfounded. They’re not based on studies. They can’t harm your liver or kidneys. Protein have just good effects and are good in a diet based on only just them.
Protein is made of amino-acids and they maintain our body. There are some amino-acids the body can’t produce, and there are eight of them. If you don’t get a lot of protein, then your body will take them from your muscles. This is why the vegetarians have less muscle than the ones that eat fish and meat. They also gain muscles harder because their testosterone level is lower than the other meat eating people. Around 7-10% less testosterone.
I don’t understand why someone would eat less protein than they need. One of the two things that start with a ‘P’ and that you should never cut back on, is protein. How much protein should you get? If you are working out, you need up to 1.5 to 2 g/lb, and if you’re not, then 1g/lb.
A carb calorie is not equal to a protein calorie when it comes to metabolizing into our body. Protein calorie is not assimilated as fat like the carb ones. Takes a lot more energy to get rid of the protein than the carb. Protein also helps secreting glucagons, and that keeps insulin from storing fat.
The fact that you have to reduce the calories to lose weight is not true. Some said that it doesn’t matter what or how much you eat, you’ll lose weight if you get less calories. The diets based on this are not effective and they’re not based on anything real. So basically if you don’t get enough protein, you won’t have a muscular body, no matter how much you try.
The carbs are separated on different types by the quantity of insulin they produce after being taken in. it’s called the Glycemic Index. These are the foods that are ok to eat if you want to get rid of the love handles. The list of carbs goes from low to moderate. Even though it says acceptable, it doesn’t mean you should abuse on them. Make sure you don’t eat too much of anything, although there are some vegetables that can be eaten in large number since they have low carb concentration. The list below mentions the food that is better avoided. You have to stay away from them if you want to be slimmer or just lose some weight. The usual diet will fail around 95% of the time. You can try and eat whatever you want and just cut back on calories, but that won’t work in the long run. That happens because of the hunger they cause. If you want a long term result, you have to eat right without starving yourself.
The refined sugars: try the sweeteners that are artificial The refined products: pie, cookies, cakes and so on Potatoes: sweet potatoes The white rice: try to use only whole grain rice The white bread: try and use the one with the whole grain without added sugar The white pasta: the whole grain pasta
Barbecue sauces, salad dressings are products that you should be cautious around. They contain one or more types of sugar. Try and eat the regular salad dressing not the fat free ones. And most important of all, be patient because the results are not happening overnight.
